Professional info
In 2004, I completed my Ph.D. in Biological Sciences at Seoul National University in Korea. During my graduate studies there, I maintained research assistantships in both the Interdisciplinary Program in Genetic Engineering and the National Center for Inter-University Research Facilities. Upon earning my degree, I continued my training and research at the university as a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Biological Sciences for two years. Thereafter, I joined MD Anderson Cancer Center as a postdoctoral fellow from 2006 to 2010 in the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology, and in 2010, I was promoted to the position of Instructor in the same department. Since 2014, I have been working on my independent research as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine at Ewha Womans University School of Medicine.
